These comfortable chairs will help my students feel more at home. As adults, we always try to find the perfect spot to read a good book. This will help the students focus on the books or the work instead of their aching back or tush. This is one piece of a larger vision that I have for our classroom. We have tried a few things out and the students really enjoyed cushions and chairs that can easily be moved. Often, they used chairs similar to this most often in a variety of areas around the room. These are portable and can be used in a variety of ways such as independent reading or small group work.
