How can a child learn to write if she can't see how the letters are formed? The use of a document camera will make all the difference in remote learning this year. The camera will offer opportunities for me to write, draw and project books onto my students' screens. A document camera gives every student a front row seat as we work through lessons together, setting the stage for kids to work through problems on their own. A normal kindergarten day is filled with opportunities for me to show my kids how to draw pictures, sound out and write words, or solve math problems. Because we will be learning remotely this year, it will be hard to have these important moments with my students. The document camera will help me to engage my students and let them see the learning process.
