The hands on materials that I have picked out will help my students in so many ways. The Community Pack and LEGO Brick Set will help my students with fine motor skills and problem solving skills. My students will learn to work in a group or with a partner to build something together. The Build the Letter Activity Center and Giant Alphabet Beads with help with letter recognition and the building of sight words and cvc words. Hands on activities bring children together. You see them interacting with one another on a different level. When my students are given the opportunity to work with their hands, they are so much more engaged. I see their little faces light up when they have constructed something of their own. They are always so eager to share it with me and their classmates. I wish for every child to be in a classroom that has these types of activities.
