I believe flexible seating will make my classroom inviting and create a safe place for them to learn. Some students are more comfortable sitting on a couch or a bean bag. I want to give my students an opportunity to choose a place to sit where their learning style can thrive. Students would be able to choose from wobble chairs, floor seats, bean bag chairs and wobble cushions. Students that need a little more energy released will love the wobble cushions that can be used on the floor. Students will also have an opportunity to sit in a bean bag chair to work on their tasks as well. I would love for students to collaborate with others in a flexible classroom. Students will get a chance to spread out. My goal as a teacher is to create life long learners. Where else in life do you have to sit in a row and raise your hand? You don't! This environment will prepare them to learn the best way for them. Help me create a flexible seating environment where kids want to learn.
