These materials will help my students stay engaged and learning through play in the classroom; materials purchased through TeachersPayTeachers will help them stay engaged in a remote learning environment at home. My students will participate using classroom themes that will change each week and include categories such as transportation, animals, food/cooking, fall, winter, bugs and more. Core words, which are the 300 most used words throughout the day, will be emphasized each week and incorporated into themes so that those with communication devices are exposed to and, therefore, have a better chance at using them for a more robust expressive language.
