The ability for students to move their feet while sitting in their seat will help improve independent work without distracting peers. Many of my students have a hard time sitting in a regular chair and sitting while working on their own and in small groups. Kinesthetic learning has been shown to increase comprehension. Many of my students are below grade level readers who have a difficult time because of hyperactivity. The use of movement has been beneficial to my learners who have trouble staying focused. These chair bands will allow for students to release extra energy and help increase learning.
