Girls start to lose interest in science in Middle School. The girls do just as well in science up to this point. I am striving to give the girls - and boys - hands-on opportunities. Learning by doing will help the girls see that they can understand and apply to real-life situations. Girls often quit participating and allow the boys to take the lead. These supplies will give me the tools for students to collect data and analyze the data. Thank you for your help! I know that this will make a difference in all of my students' life.

About my class
