Having these items will help the students be able to regulate themselves. This will allow us to be more productive in school as well as in the community. Giving the students the opportunity to freely use these items would give them a sense of independence, something a lot of these kids won't be able to experience. The majority of our students are non verbal, so for them to ask for something they may not get causes a great deal of frustration on the students end as well as the teaching staff, so to have these items in the classroom for them would be incredible.
