I teach woodshop and other technology based topics. The safety glasses and gloves keep our students safe. The Model Airplaine Balsa Delta Dart will let students create and learn about flight (science) at the same time! Students can design and create to explore if they see a future in engineering. For students to see an object fly that they created from scratch can be very motivating. A lot of these students do not get support at home where you get your first experiences using basic tools. This also includes safety glasses I will use all year long, as well as disposable gloves, to protect the students and to create a culture of safe behavior.
