Robotics in the Classroom is Science Fiction! Not true, I would like to purchase from Amazon Business Sphero SPRK+ STEAM Educational Robot for use in the middle school exploratory and coding classes for team competitions. Sphero SPRK+ STEAM Educational Robot is a miniature smart robot that can follow lines or roam around freely, detect colors, and can be programmed by the students. Team competitions is a great way to engage students in a class period and use their creativity to complete challenges. Programming can be done on their Chromebooks and can be used for ages 8 and up. These robots cost about $100 each for a starter kit. I would like to see a purchase of at least six (6) so partners or teams can collaborate together to solve programming tasks. This technology is the way of the future and introduction of it early in middle school excites the student and readies them for opportunities for their future.
