Chromebooks would allow students with a variety of special education needs to express what they know in print with ease. Many students struggle with the necessary, visual, motor, and organizational skills to produce their knowledge in written form. Providing access to and teaching my students how to effectively incorporate the use of technology into their daily education would allow them to feel empowered and successful in the classroom. Chromebooks would allow students to focus on the content of their writing instead of the frustration they face with the mechanics of producing organized legible print. My students are proud to show what they know. Chromebooks would allow them to create their projects and essays while they continue to work toward building their core skills in occupational therapy.
