These ASUS Flip Chromebooks will allow students to have a one-to-one technology classroom. This is beneficial to them in many ways, but will mainly be utilized in math and science. Through the program IXL, students practice many essential math skills with immediate feedback and real-time progress monitoring. Project Lead the Way (PLTW) also plays an important role in the classroom by helping students learn the design process, scientific method, building skills, and programming. Some of this program is hands-on, but other aspects of it require technology through apps, online reading, and more. By providing students with Chromebooks, we will be providing them with enriched experiences and access to subjects such as engineering, math, and science--all right at their fingertips. These are widely considered growing fields for the future, and improving students' access to them now will enhance their career options later.
