Hello! I am the chorus teacher for Hidden Valley Middle School and Hidden Valley High School which gives me the joy to teach my students through their adolescence into adulthood. The many changes and transitions of adolescence also provides me with the chance to create a safe and accepting learning environment for all. I see and teach each class every other day for 85 minutes where we prepare and rehearse for upcoming performances. Singing fundamentals and techniques are taught to create a unified sound among the choir. I love my job! I love coming to work everyday knowing that something exciting is going happen, and that I have the chance to positively affect a young person. It is something that I take very seriously. Helping each and every student express themselves through song has intrinsic value in a hostile and divisive world. In choir, my students experience true unity.
