These manipulatives will provide experiences that will allow my students to see that practicing these reading and writing skills can be very fun. Each material will make reading and writing more exciting and engaging for my students. The board games will allow them to practice essential skills such as main idea and making inferences. They will also have guiding questions to lead them through their guided leveled books during guided reading. The laminator will be used to ensure that all the materials can be used for years to come! It'll help keep the quality of the materials so that many more classes can utilize these resources! All of these materials will give my students the practice and exposure they need to allow them to grow in their reading and writing levels. My students will look forward to playing these board games and using manipulatives during our ELA block.
