My students are economically disadvantaged, but you wouldn't know it by looking at them. They are fun-loving, high-spirited, hard-working, and high-achieving students. We have a state test that determines the rank of our school. Even though we are a high poverty school, we received the top ranking title of EXEMPLARY last year. That means that 90% or more of our students passed each strand of our rigorous test. They never let their home life interfere with their academic achievement. My students want more out of life, and as their teacher, I want to provide them with the best all-around education.
