The materials I chose will be used during center time. They will help reinforce phonics and reading skills that they are learning in class. Being able to manipulate actual letter tiles, blends, and digraphs will increase student understanding and knowledge. I chose a variety of hands-on materials that students will be using on a daily basis during center time. My class will benefit greatly from working with partners or small groups to use the phonics flip books, magnetic letters, phonics puzzles, and reading games. The wipe off pockets will be used so that activities can be used for multiple students.
