Auditory and Visual learners can supplement their learning of fractions by watching a sandwich being cut into equal pieces on a video. Students can also work at their own pace, which benefits all learners. Low performing readers can get the support of having directions read to them. Headphones will allow students to receive individualized instruction at their own pace. Students won't be distracted by their neighbor, which will allow them to focus on their own learning. Headphones allow a classroom of students to work independently on occasion, which is important to be able to do.
