Our students are learning to express themselves through music. With this equipment they will receive hands-on experience with video recording and production. This will give them another skillset that they can use to promote their messages and let their voices be heard. In today's digital culture, learning how to record video, set up camera angles and scenes using the Sony CX-405 camera, learning video production & editing skills are additional skills that can be applied in the real world. Being in a school setting in the inner city with limited green space, a green screen will expand location and scene possibilities. The second part of this project is use of this equipment will be expanded to include teaching students skills such as journalism, audio-visual production, set design, and so much more. The main goal of this project is have student express their viewpoints on various relevant topics in society by using music and video as vehicles for sharing their messages.
