As a life science classroom, we learn daily about how plants and animals work together in relationships. With an Aquaponics Aquarium, we will be able to see how plant and animal relationships work in real life! Middle school students are all about seeing how things "really" work. We live in an age where all the information is at your fingertips, but sometimes in Science we just don't get the same effect by watching it on YouTube or Googling the answer! Watching an Aquaponics aquarium, and actually seeing plants and animals work together and getting a product in the form of growing plants that we can use will give us the ultimate teaching and learning experience.
