Currently, we only have one of each of these micropipettes at each station of four students. This slows down lab progress and often alters lab results due to the time-sensitive nature of our experiments. The addition of these micropipettes will streamline our work and also give students the access to high-quality lab equipment similar to those used in collegiate labs.  These items will help our students develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive in their undergraduate STEM courses. Our goal is to develop a lab that builds a bridge to undergraduate labs and prepares our students for the next step in their education. These micropipettes will allow us to complete our lab work efficiently and accurately. We currently do not have a full class set of micropipettes and this causes more than half of the class to wait on equipment to become available. Sadly, much of our work is time sensitive and we often have poor outcomes due to the lag periods we have to endure due to not having enough equipment.
