Students will have access to materials and resources that will create a hands on learning environment which is crucial for our student's with Autism. My students are imaginative and creative and with the right materials, they are capable of achieving great things. For example, my students will have their own copies of books that are part of our ELA curriculum. The laminator will allow the students to have access to adapted materials specific to their learning needs. Having a carpet will allow all of the students to sit together and actively participate in circle time. The butterfly growing kit will allow students to see the life cycle of a butterfly firsthand and not just in a textbook. The printer ink will ensure that the students are able to work on individualized worksheets every day.
