These materials will allow my students to have an updated library that would allow for varied book titles and allow for student choice and a selection that will engage, motivate and pique the interest of all my students. I want my students to read for pleasure not because they "have to". I want to provide new books to my students to continue to build reading and comprehension skills and what better way to continue to excite students than to get some new books for the classroom. Receiving new books in a classroom is as exciting as waking up on Christmas morning. The excitement for the students and teachers alike instantly connects them and engages students to want to be the first to read the new books. Its a win win situation!

About my class
