The materials and supplies I am requesting are to encourage collaboration and self- directed learning. My students are so excited to have a classroom full of flexible seating. Studies show that the more a student moves, the more he/she will learn. The table will be used for students to collaborate together on all sorts of projects. The wobble stools and cushions will allow students to move and learn will no distraction to students around them. This is especially important for students who struggle to focus. Students will get to choose a new seat each day. The power of choice can be a huge motivator for students!
