My students aspire to be doctors, lawyers, biologists, nurses, linguists, and veterinarians among many other occupations. Unfortunately, most of them come from modest income, working families who may struggle financially to send them to college. Our school provides these students with the opportunity to learn Latin, a language that will help them improve their vocabulary and grammar skills, better preparing them for their future careers. However, as school funding diminishes, special programs, such as this one, receive fewer resources.

About my class
