My project emphasizes literacy, math, and the students being able to use their imaginations. The use of the calendar is a daily routine in my classroom, but being able to have an interactive one makes it so much more interesting for the students. I would be able to incorporate our whole group lesson into the software program, too. The wood blocks and bristle blocks would be great for my students so they can use their imaginations more while building. Finally, the float & find alphabets will help my students to increase their literacy skills by recognizing the letters of the alphabet, talking about the sounds that the letters make, and discussing the words that start with the letters. I chose the specified items for my project because we do not have any wooden blocks or bristle blocks in our classroom and they are the best blocks for preschoolers to build and use their imagination with. Also, the floating alphabets will help to build literacy in our sensory table and outdoors. Lastly, the circle time interactive software is perfect for our morning meeting to touch on both literacy and math with the children.
