This project is to create a resource library to be used in coordination with a grant I wrote to purchase a computer for the library office for student to use to create multi-media projects. Students will use the books like Dive into Inquiry: Amplify Learning and Empower Student to select inquiry projects to complete in the multimedia workspace. The additional resources provided by this funding will be used for teachers and students to plan multimedia projects tied to our current curriculum. The digital camera will allow students to take pictures to upload and personalize their projects to share with their peers and teachers at CMS. With the headphones students will be able to add voiceovers to their video projects. All of these resources will enhance a project I started this fall in the library. The resources purchased will provide a foundation for learning projects designed to increase student creativity and support our rigorous learning standards. Currently, our students have plenty of opportunities to use technology, but this projects allows them to have a change to use technology to create projects aligned to our content goals.
