Having equipment for students to use empowers them to be independent learners. We will use the LaMotte SMART3 Electronic Water Lab equipment monthly in the field. It inspires them to look deeper into what they are studying and gives them the opportunity to use equipment that real scientists use. Having this equipment will help my students discover what is in the streams in their community. The data collected using the LaMotte SMART3 Electronic Water Lab will be presented to the community and will hopefully give more insight on why our streams are unhealthy so we can develop solutions to help them.

About my class
