This owl pellet discovery lesson will promote hands on lessons in the classroom. Students learn more when they are involved in hands on activities. These owl pellets will open up the opportunity for students to dive deeper into the unknown. STEAM activities in the classroom have increased my students love for learning. The materials included in the owl pellet kit will open a world of wonderment and amazement to my students. This will be the culminating lesson for our study of owls. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. This activity requires no technology, thus allowing students to experience more than watching it on a computer screen.
