Students are required to complete state testing at the end of each year. With little over half of our students struggling to obtain proficiency, many of the students I serve need a lot of practice with completing assessments accurately. Drilling skills in the traditional ways can cause students to become bored. We need fun and innovative ways that allow students to practice their skills and stay engaged with the lesson. Answer paddles are a wonderful way to keep engagement high and allow teachers to use real time feedback to clear up misconceptions. Students will be able to work in pairs as well as independently to practice the much needed reading skills in a fun and exciting way.
