I am a Latina Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist and having an iPad to incorporate in my therapy sessions will provide another tool for my students. During the pandemic, technology has become a big part of our lives. It has allowed educators like myself to continue teaching our students despite the difficulties we have faced. As a speech language pathologist, having an iPad can also allow for me to provide my students with visuals and verbal cues to elicit speech and enhance their communication. There are so many applications I can use with them to support and aid their communication skills, teach them new vocabulary, and work on life and social skills to make them functional, independent communicators. Thank you for your support, my students and I will forever be grateful!
