My students already have a need for social skills lesson to help them interact and develop relationships with their peers. These trade books will help teach the students how to behave in the classroom or school as well as create relationships with their peers. I would like to implement this program in my social skills lessons to help special education students to be able to interact with peers and how to act in a school setting. My students need explicit instruction on these skills so the trade books will create a discussion and a way to develop rules or procedures that help them understand or react to social cues in the classroom.
