I am so excited to add depth to our small group math time. As a teacher, the ability to engage with students in a smaller setting is ideal. I am better able to demonstrate, provide practice activities and check for understanding when I am working with smaller groups. Making available the math activities, manipulatives, and software in this project will provide tools for each child to advance their math skills. The counting, patterning, and shape software will allow one group to be independently engaged with technology during group time. Other children can be working with a teacher while still others are working independently or with partners using math tubs.

About my class
