This is my first year to introduce interactive notebooks and we absolutely love them. The students have so much fun as we learn to create and manipulate the parts that go into making these notebooks. I believe by using the interactive notebooks my students are learning valuable skills that will stay with them for a life time. I look forward to finding new and inventive ways of using our notebooks which allows us to explore new ways of learning the different skills in math as well as reading and grammar. My students look forward to the days when we use our notebooks. They love the element of surprise that these notebooks bring to learning. And that excites me when I see my students wanting to learn and create in their notebooks. Unfortunately, we have already run out of glue and notebooks for this year. Because of this I really need this project to be funded so we can continue to utilize these tools in my classroom.
