Research shows that sitting still for long periods of time can cause harm to one's body. And though I feel I have my students up and moving many times throughout the day, I also know that some of my students still struggle to sit for even short periods of time. For my perpetual motion kiddos, a wobble chair would be a blessing. It would allow them to wiggle and wobble while writing or doing math problems. It will give them the sensory input their bodies crave in order for their brain to fully engage. A wobble chair would be the little something extra I would love to provide to my young dreamers to help them succeed.
