My students come with many unique needs. They need more time to learn new skills than the average student. We work with them to give them extra time and support in order to learn life skills. This also gives them added confidence in their daily lives and with their peers. Learning important life skills helps my students to be more independent. Our dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine have given out on us this year. The dryer and stove are soon to follow. It's a big expense, so I thought I would request these important appliances out there and see what we could come up with. We need a dryer, a washer, an oven and microwave. My students will continue to learn how to prepare meals independently and to sort, wash, fold, and put away laundry. We want to thank you in advance for any donations that we receive.
