We will provide students with a variety of seating choices so they can learn in their best way possible. Research shows students best learn in environments where they are most comfortable and tailored to what is best for each of them as individual learners. They are more focused, engaged, attain higher grades, and develop a better understanding of curricular material. We chose a variety of seating choices for every type of learner. We have options for students that learn better wiggling (wobble chairs, wobble floor cushions, yoga balls), students who learn best spread out (lap desks, futon), students who learn best in traditional seating (stools) and many other options for comfortable seating. It is our goal to do what is best for our class and assure all students are successful in an environment conducive to learning.
