Providing flexible seating in the classroom not only helps students practice self-awareness through choice and reflection, it gives students who NEED a different options more choices. The requested balance balls will provide these students with the tools that they need to break down the barriers that can hold them back. It isn't realistic to expect every child to do their best work in traditional seating. When we provide a wide array of choices, students are more likely to do their best work because they are in control of these choices. These balance balls will add an additional flexible seating option to our classroom for students during independent work time.
