Flowery Elementary School is located in Sonoma, California. The social/emotional health of our students is vital for student success. As Flowery's Elementary Counselor, I provide individual and group counseling. My counseling sessions are tailored to meet each student's area of need related to the academic, social, behavioral, or emotional domains. In addition, I give whole class lessons in grades K-5 in order to teach students important strategies and life-skills. We take a preventive approach in giving students tools they need for problem solving conflicts with their peers, strategies for dealing with bullying, and how to regulate and manage different emotions.
