Our start-up AP lab is in need of equipment and supplies for all 13 of the AP labs. I chose the respiration lab equipment kit to help students make the connection between the oxygen needs of various organisms and experimental conditions that may affect oxygen consumption. This equipment will help free the students to focus on the inquiry, rather than cobbling together equipment not made for the task. Our students are enthusiastic pioneers that enjoy a challenge. This equipment will make it possible to use their creativity to design conditions that influence the rate of cell respiration in germinating peas and other small organisms.
