I only have 1 working computer in my class. We are a STEM certified school and we constantly are doing research for our different projects. Tablets would help us with our research for the projects we work on. They would also allow students to be more productive with their time if they finish an assignment early. Being a STEM school, we are constantly using different types of technology to explore with while doing our projects. Tablets will be another great resource for them to use to do while learning about our projects. My students can use them to gather information on whatever topic we are learning about (currently we are growing bell peppers in our school garden). Students will also use the tablets to do individual research for projects they will do. Students will use the tablets to complete extra activities when they finish classwork early, too.
