One of the courses that I teach is Flight and Space. Out of all the courses that I teach, Flight and Space is my students' favorites. In my class we build paper airplanes, gliders, rockets, and etc. An area that my class does not include is drones. With the technology advancements in our world, drones are the future of aviation. With the drones and accessories in this grant, I will be able to enhance my Flight and Space course with drones. We would start our study of unmanned vehicles and the many purposes in every day life. We will also study the safety and rules of using drones. The students will have the opportunity to program the drones and calculate the pay load. This will demonstrate the delivery of packages efficiently and care of the cargo. Learning becomes meaningful when students can apply their skills to real-life projects, by making and creating. If you choose to fund the Parrot Mambo Drones, you will provide my Flight and Space students with meaningful learning opportunities, by allowing them to design and program their very own quadcopter drones.
