A big part of our program is to have students lead their learning. These binders and sheet protectors will provide the students will a tool to be able to collect their work throughout the year and give them an opportunity to reflect on their progress and successes! Students will use these portfolios as a tool to share with their families their progress that they are making in preschool. This will be a collection to take with them as well. The teachers will collaborate with students to continually look at all the learning they have done over time in the documentation they decide to keep along with teacher chosen pieces. These will be accessible for the students at all times as it creates dialogue with peers about their work as well. Language and Social-Emotional skills are a pivotal part of preschool and these will encourage these interactions as well.
