The CHAIRBACK BUDDY PACKS I am requesting will help keep the students school supplies organized. At the beginning of the year each student is supplied with: crayons, pencils, glue, glue sticks, markers, workbooks, story books and flash cards. If the students could have access to these items at their seats it would be convenient and it would save time. More importantly it would make them more accountable for their own personal belongings. “The ultimate goal of education from kindergarten through high school is to prepare students for the real world.” According to an article written by, A Step Ahead Academic Center Teaching Kids to Organize is important: Reinforcing the importance of organization helps students experience success throughout their lives. Instead of passing items out, putting in a storage container and supplying students with different materials regularly students will have their own CHAIRBACK BUDDY PACK. THE CHAIRBACK BUDDY PACKS will have the supplies needed right at the fingertips. The students will be organized (preparing for the grades to come…..life-long learners) have ownership and will be proud to say, “I am prepared to learn, I have my own things right here.” As the teacher I will make sure the pencils are sharpened, the markers are not dry, there is a color of each crayon. All I need is a place for each child to store the items. The extra packs will be used in the library.
