Word building skills are an important part of education and my students will be able to use the "Build A Word" boards to practice their word building that they will use to create sentences with. The "Touch & Read CVC" kit will be so beneficial to my students in many ways. Not only will it provide them with extra practice on reading words, it will give my hands on students something to touch as they sound out each letter and blend the word. These materials will make a significant difference in our classroom by giving the students fun hands on materials to build and create words. They will use these in cooperative group learning, partner learning, center time, also during one on one intervention time with myself. My students do centers every day. They need engaging word building and sentence centers and partner materials to aide in word and sentence creation. This will give them independent practice also with concepts and skills taught during class. Sometimes students need more interactive games to help them master reading skills. And who doesn't love playing while learning?
