My project is to engage all of my students (Multi-lingual/ English Language Learners, Special Education Students and General Education Students) during our live lessons, especially in math! This project would allow us to not have to rely on a mouse! This project will support with OT skills because they will grasping a realistic pencil like in our physical classroom, which I miss! It will ease hand fatigue. Student work will be more authentic! My students will be able to share our problem solving models/strategies with kid friendly pictures, not boxes or lines across our screens. As the teacher, I wouldn’t have to hold my dry erase board, move my screen, hold a timer while trying to explain my models and attempt not to write backwards. For my students, they wouldn't have to place their book across the screen or take a picture and send it to my phone or email to share their thinking. For this project, I am asking for your support for our class. Please help a second grade ICT teacher from Harlem not write backwards or receive fifteen text images or emails for each problem. I appreciate all of your generosity and support. It will simplify this teacher’s life.
