Imagine a 21st century classroom where the instruction is as technology literate as our students’ everyday life with their cell phones, video games and computers? We need to capture the current learning modalities of these fast growing technology natives. I teach a diverse group of third grade learners at a small Title One elementary school in New Hampshire. These students live in high poverty with 75% qualifying for free and reduced lunch and 10% are English Language Learners. The document camera will engage all learners regardless of not having the best of what the world has to offer.
