This Literacy Center will provide a comfortable and quiet area for my students to engage with the world of literature. The "Beanbag Seats" and "Comfy Couch" are designed for their size and make the children feel as though this area is welcoming and belongs to them. The "Heavy Duty Mobile Book Cart" will provide a centralized location for students to check books out and return them when they are finished at the literacy center. Most of my children do not have access to books or a quiet area at home to explore the world of literature. Through your support, my students will have a safe, comfortable and dedicated area within the classroom that will enable them to begin to develop a life-long appreciation for reading.
