Staying organized in our classroom is very important. We do not have much space in our class so we must use our space wisely and efficiently. Currently my students are keeping all of their materials in their cubby hole. These materials include several notebooks, folders, and a bag of books. This leaves no room for them to store other items such as lunch boxes or jackets. Materials are constantly falling out of the cubby holes and making our room look cluttered and messy. Seat pockets will help us to keep our materials organized and near by. When we have to constantly go back and forth to our cubbies to retrieve our materials, we lose a lot of instructional time. Our day would run much smoother if students were able to keep everything they needed for the day right there at their desk.
