My students sit all day and I've found by sharing my own desk and podium, some students really respond well to having another option other than the traditional student desk. I've chosen two standing desks that can also be used collaboratively with small groups during literary circles, debates, peer reviews and editing. By facilitating a more comfortable working environment, I will be able to lessen student frustration and increase their success. I enjoy watching my student's grow through different learning experiences and I would love to give them this option. Also, working from standing desks increases focus and excitement about performance.
