These materials will help my students foster a love for reading. This year I will be implementing the Daily 5 in my classroom. I would like to give the students an opportunity to not only read their books, but listen to their reading as well, I will be creating a listening center. Instead of a CD player students will use Kindle Fires to listen and follow along with reading on Epic. Students will be able to journey to far off lands in the comfort of our classroom. My students are very diverse and have very different needs. They often can't concentrate because they feel the need to fidget or they are just not comfortable. I myself work best when I'm sitting in a comfortable seat. The new seating will give students the flexibility to choose what kind of seating works best for them.
